The Advisory Board recognizes training groups that demonstrate the capability to conduct First Responder courses and/or continuing education classes.
The Colorado Division of Fire Safety's Advisory Board has established the First Responder National Standard Curriculum, (DOT HS 80-8291), August, 1995 developed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation, as the minimum curriculum leading to state certification.
EMT certifications are handled by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment-EMS Division. Please be aware that the
