Each JPR will help prepare a firefighting candidate for International Fire Service Accreditation Congress (IFSAC) testing.
More information regarding individual certification levels can be found by in the Certification Policy Manual.
The new form fillable Practical Check Sheet is posted.
The Fire Officer Skill Packet Presentation was developed by the Colorado Fire Training Officers Association
to assist candidates in completing the Fire Officer Skill Packet.
Please be advised that the review process for Fire Officer Skills Packet may take up to 8 weeks. (Skill Packets are reviewed by committee members
that volunteer their time for this task.)
When submitting the Fire Officer Skill Packet, please do not enter a "Test Date" on the "Application and Request for Examinations" (scantron form). The test date will be established by the Certification Manager and Training Officer upon successful completion of the Skill Packet.
In order to better assist firefighters, coordinators and proctors, we have standardized our practical requests. Please see the practical request page.
IMPORTANT: We require that all practical requests are received by the Division at least 30 days prior to the test.
